Isis S. Williams was born on June 18th, 1983 in Far Rockaway, Queens. She graduated from Broad Channel High School in 2000. Initially, Isis wanted to become a professional boxer, but her mother talked her out of that dream. Back in Far Rockaway, Isis had a big crush a the locale drug dealer by the name of Sammy Russo; his homies called him 'the face'. At one time, Isis considered selling drug just to get Sammy's attention, but her oldest sister literally shook that idea out of Isis's head.

The boy's in her neighborhood considered Isis a dime. With her tight, sexy little body and her beautiful peanut butter complexion, Isis Williams stood out amongst the other girls. She and her sister, Deloris, were the best of friends. Deloris did her best to keep her little sister out of trouble, which young Isis seemed to be drawn to, as a matter of fact, it was Deloris who talked Isis into becoming a boxer. When she was seventeen, Isis was scheduled to fight in the Golden Gloves tournaments at Madison Square Garden, but a tragedy struck the Williams' family. David Williams, her father, was shot and killed in the backyard of the family's home. Her mother was charged with the crime. Young Isis combed her entire neighborhood searching for any witnesses; she found none. Her mother had died in the courtroom after the sentence was pronounced. This second tragedy sent Isis spinning out of control. She fought  with her sister, who blamed her for everything that happened, she shoplifted, and she even started experimenting with drugs.

Her sister, who'd became Isis legal guardian, had young Isis institutionalized for severe  depression. Isis responded by not speaking to anyone for a month. She met a young rookie police officer by the name of Leroy Chalk. Chalk told her to join the N.Y.P.D. Once she graduated from the academy, officer Isis Williams asked to be posted in Far Rockaway. Her mission was to track down the person or persons responsible for the destruction of her family. After two years, officer Isis Williams had made detective and was assigned to the homicide division at the Double 0 precinct in Harlem. With her no-nonsense approach to her work and with the highest arrest and conviction ratio that the department had seen in the last twenty-five years, Detective Isis Williams made a lot of enemies within the department. But she didn't let that stop her from doing her work. The police commissioner called her an asset and one of the best cops in the city.
